This is how we play.
My family and I are all really big card and board game fanatics. And I feel like you learn a lot about a person when you play a game with them. People’s true colors came out.
Monopoly in my family is intense. We literally have written rules to help counteract any possible loopholes and prevent arguments(supposedly).
Risk is a long game. But take that time and quadruple it in my house....

I've been lost, but never this long.
I’ve been feeling really jaded lately. It’s just that point in the semester when your initial motivation starts to slip away. This semester is taking a lot out of me. Two 10 page papers in the next two weeks and I have yet to begin. I guess spring break is strategically placed after all to give me some time to recover.
On a brighter note, I’ve finally semi-finalized my plans...
It's a fine line between cute and creepy.
Today’s post will be about the movie The Notebook. If you haven’t seen it, you’ve heard of it. Countless females, and even a few brave males have proclaimed this their favorite movie. And I’m here to tell you that the movie teaches you lies.
#1 If a guy follows you around and does crazy stunts, like climbing a ferris wheel, you should give them a chance.
Let’s be...
Step up to the plate.
“Strawberry ice cream. Banana Split. We make your team look like shi—-ft to the left, shift to the right. Stand up. Sit down. Fight Fight Fight.”
Growing up I was a tomboy probably because I grew up with boys. So I’ve been trained in building forts to keep out younger brothers, setting up mattress slides on stairs, locking parents out of the house and all other sorts of...
No retreat. No surrender.
Today was full of good things.
Calling my dad to wish him happy birthday
Successful interview with a grad student studying sexual selection among daddy-long-legs
Receiving a text from my brother saying he passed his driving test
Making delicious cinnamon pancakes with raspberry jelly for dinner (without setting off the fire alarm)
Reading that J.K. Rowling is writing another book
I just can't look it's killing me
It’s time for a roundup of last week’s highlights:
running after the 113 bus twice and then walking back to campus with my groceries (Austin’s a dick)
setting off the fire alarm while making pancakes AND waffles
attending a Hawaiian party and getting hit on by your stereotypical surfer dude (long blond hair and everything)
watching Stacey get hit on by a guy almost shorter...
Feeling Twirly O_o
kuch kuch hota hai…
Let's try and be sophisticated now.
Home Goods is amazing! It’s like the Forever 21 of house stuff. Everything is so cheap and even my brother likes going there, mostly because that’s where we bought our giant stone tiger.
My recent purchases:
This nifty chest I’m using to store my books for this semester.
This awesome tiger mug for my excessive green tea consumption.
I also got a bunch of stationary, which...
What's today? It's Tuesday.
My last class consisted of an philosophical discussion of valentines day, so yes I’m going to do the unofficially mandatory Valentine’s Day Post.
I don’t love it or hate it. Yes it’s cute. Yes it is a Hallmark holiday created for them to make money. My friend Steph pointed out that it’s a bit showy. And as my teacher said in class it uses material objects to put...

Wellllll
Lesson: If a drunk man steals your shades. Let them go.
Tonight was interesting. A lot of craziness, but I stuck to my rules, so I guess it was a success? Well success might not be the best word. But it wasn’t a failure.
I watched your words go up in smoke.
This semester has me very nervous. I have so many papers in all my classes. Did you say 40 page paper? Thats funny my last two teachers said that too…
If you’re looking for me, I’ll be on the sixth floor of McKeldin in a back corner.
